In my role as Director of Strategy and Technology at Faiths United, I worked with the National Coordinator and our member national organizations to dream up a weekend of action where communities of faith could unite, reflect and take action to reduce gun violence in America. The result was the National Gun Violence Prevention Sabbath, which is now in it’s third year.
On this campaign, I:Created the branding, website, messaging, and collected resources for different faith denominations. Collaborated with national faith leaders to engage their congregations and to bolster participation. Partnered with our media firm to promote specific events in key states where state legislation was in play or where members of Congress needed to hear from constituents. Managed all list-building and email communications. Reported on progress to faith coalition and funders.
